having orchids in the bedroom, good or bad?

Hi,

I have 3 orchids plants in full bloom in my bedroom. My parents keep telling me that it’s bad for me since the pollen might affect my health. I keep them on top of my bed and it’s been over a week now since I got them and I don’t feel any different. Is my parents’ worries true or should I just ignore them?
