I have a small flower bed in the backyard of my new house. I’d like to plant something pretty and easy to care for there (gardening novice) but I need to make sure it’s dog friendly- especially since all the really nice flowers are on the aspca poison list. It is a shady area in zone 6. Any suggestions on good plants that won’t harm my pup?
