My Grandmother is housebound and enjoys watching them – they bring her a lot of joy. Unfortunately, they are also digging up our flower garden she enjoys. Is there a way to at least discourage this behavior or is it something we’re just going to have to live with? I already take great pains to feed them roasted, unsalted peanuts, so they’re not hungry. I’m at a loss as to how to stop them from this without completely driving them away. Little help, please?
