I’ve heard that Orchids are really killers. That they are actually killing the plant?

I’m looking for a tattoo idea and that thought intrigues me.
It’s not that orchids have anything to do with tattoos, I heard somewhere that orchids kill whatever it’s attached to, and it intrigued an idea for a tat.
