I have a garden area full of weeds and grass, and I intend to turn it into soil, and plant vegetables and some flowers there.
Some things I have already germinated and do intend to plant:
Grape Tomatoes
Tomatoes (Early girl and Big boy) (Bought as a plant)
Jalapeño Peppers
Celery
Zinnia flower
Butterfly flower
Strawberry (bought as a plant)

Some that I have NOT germinated yet but have the seeds for:
Watermelons

Some that I am planning to plant:
Corn
Potatoes

I did alot of work on the weeds and i was about 80% done. Unluckily for me it was pouring rain all week on and off, preventing me from doing anything with the garden. I was surprised to find out the WHOLE GARDEN grew back weeds.
Any useful tips on how to quickly rid my garden, and any general tips for what I’m growing?
