I have a new plant/ flower growing in my yard. It’s not a weed. But I just moved to the property and the lady before me had a pretty good sized garden… The one I am talking about in particular is in rather small bunches, but it’s a rather large group. The leaves are similar to that of a daffodil, but they are shorter and they are curved and shaped like a boat at the ends. In the middle of one is a bloom… the bloom kind of resembles the top of a piece of asparagus. Its reddish-purple, and small. The bloomed has not bloomed yet, but it’s just showing out of hte very center of this small bunch of leaves… If anyone could help me out I would appreciate it…
Lily Of The Nile has the right leaves, but the bloom is like a top of a piece of asparagus, there really is no other way to describe it. Lily Of The Nile has more of a bulb that splits off to the several individual blooms. I dont think thats it. But thanks anyways. If it helps, I live in arkansas…
Thank you answerer, I do believe it is a Hyacinth… Thank you very much…
